A Legacy of Celebration Since the 1980s

Nestled along the Sacramento River, Isleton shares a spirited kinship with Breaux Bridge, Louisiana – the Crawfish Capital of the World. Since the 1980s, our festival has been a homage to the diverse cultural mosaic of the region, weaving together Cajun traditions and local farming resilience.

After a multi-year hiatus, the festival is back in the hands of Isleton residents and business owners. Our mission is to rekindle the nostalgia that once firmly placed Isleton on the map, rejuvenating the legendary Crawdad Festival traditions for a new generation of festgoers.
